  disaster and drama

  Liked: The relatively good location is a plus for this apartment, but considering the scandalous standard of hygiene and service, I would never consider booking it again.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this apartment. From the moment we arrived, the apartment was not properly prepared for guests. The floor was dirty, one of the beds in the children's bedroom had dirty bed linen with hair on it and an unpleasant smell, the bathroom contained extensive mold, the shower drain was blocked, and the furniture, shelves and bathroom radiator were covered in dust. Despite booking the apartment for three guests for a four-night stay, only one small rubbish bag was provided, which was insufficient even for the size of the kitchen bin. There was also no practical way to dry laundry despite a washing machine being provided. During our stay, cockroaches appeared in the bathroom, dining area and even inside the wardrobe in the children's bedroom. All of these issues were reported immediately and documented with photographs and videos. Of all the problems reported, only three were addressed: the dirty floor was cleaned on the day of our arrival after I had reported the issue and provided photographic evidence, the bed linen on one of the children's beds was replaced after the first night, and additional rubbish bags were provided. The remaining issues were never resolved during our stay. The apartment did not meet basic standards of hygiene, sanitation or guest safety. I initially booked and paid for a four-night stay but left after three nights because I genuinely believed the management company would resolve the reported issues. Once it became clear that the cockroach infestation would not be addressed, I had no choice but to leave. No refund was provided for the unused final night. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend either this apartment or the management of the property.

  Would probably stay again but not until baby is a little older

  Liked: The property was a good size and had comfortable beds and the shower was great. The hosts were great, quick to respond and bright extra spoons And another dish towel

  Disliked: We were there for a week. Ended up only being able to use two burners on the three burner stove at a time because you had to use the exact size of pan for the burner, but luckily the little coffee maker still worked. There are ants but less would show up on some days after killing a few of them and wiping it up. There is a high chair however it’s missing the attachment that would make it suitable for babies so I’d recommend travelling with children who are maybe 3/4 years +, or younger ones who don’t eat yet unless you’re happy holding them on your lap to feed them

  Poor check in process

  Liked: I had a terrible check in so my rating reflects this despite the apartment being good. I had no communication from the property provider on the day of check in despite messages from me. By 4pm (check in time) I rang them and after more than 30 minutes of frustration (they couldn’t find my booking, they couldn’t send me the electronic check in information, etc) I was finally able to get into the apartment. Previous communication was very impersonal and frankly unhelpful. The apartment is comfortable and decorated in very good taste.

  Disliked: As above. It was very warm inside even in October.

  Nice modern appartement

  Liked: Very nice, modern and clean appartement with comfortable beds and bathrooms

  Disliked: No airco; it was very hot in the rooms. Difficult lock on the front door; it was not easy to open the door. There was a terrace, but it was not available for guests. Not so close to the city center (Guggenheim, old town).
