  A perfect apartment, with a twist

  Liked: Just to get this out of the way, this was one of the best, if not the best place we've ever stayed at. What separates it from the usual crowd is that you can see everywhere, that this was not made to rent, but to live in. Never else have we seen a kitchen with this amount of amenities; cutlery is probably for 20+ people. For crying out loud, there is an actual cappuccino milk foam maker. Quality mattresses, decor, 75'' TVs (yes, plural). The terrace is small, but cozy, less so in scorching summer heat, but nevertheless allows for spectacular sunrises. There is an actual bed outside! The beach under the apartment is passable, but just barely. Don't worry, beautiful spots are like 5-10 minutes of driving away. To add to some comments about the parking from other guests - yes, street parkings are scarce and small, a lottery basically. Fortunately, there are two large gravel parkings (free) 2-3 minutes walking away.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, there is one major downside - loud music from the bar downstairs (yes, under the bedrooms). Although the apartment is on the 5th floor, the music is so loud that it is virtually impossible to sleep. On weekdays, music stops at midnight; don't know about the weekends.

  Fantastic apartment right in the beach with everything you need

  Liked: The property was lovely and clean, nice and spacious for us and our two teenagers. The view was absolutely stunning. Close to shops and restaurants. Loved the fact that they had two bottles of water in the fridge on arrival. Everything was explained clearly, paying the tourist tax was easy as they had a box for the money. Had a washing machine and dryer which was useful and also had plenty of towels. Beds really comfortable and the outside bed was a lovely surprise. The lift was a godsend because it was so hot it was a Struggle doing the stairs. The key collection was easy and the air con was bloody beautiful after a hot day and sweaty evening out. When you leave the apartment and go on to the sea front make sure you venture left and right, loads of different food places and shops in both directions the harbour is to the left and it’s lovely in the evenings. To the right of you walk all the way down you will find loads of shops and restaurants.

  Disliked: Parking wasn’t very easy as it was really busy all weekend outside of the apartment and all the car parks around. We had to park about a 10 minute walk away. Which wasn’t a major issue just a little bit annoying with bags and stuff. Also the 60’s bar had loud music till just after midnight which also wasn’t a major issue for us but my daughter was ill the first night and struggled to settle down because of the music also because on the beach opposite they had a beach party for a celebration that went on till 4.30am. lucky my daughter is 16 so was able to not let it affect her to much but if you had smaller kids it could be an issue, if I had My youngest who is autistic it would of been a big struggle for her to settle down. I am in no way moaning as we had a Lovely stay and this doesn’t reflect the apartment because it’s absolutely stunning but just a heads up to other people if you like it peaceful in the evenings. We spent the evenings eating out and enjoying the different food and drink places along the beach front.

  Great location and facilities, pity about the lift!

  Liked: Had everything you needed, very comfortable beds. Great location closed to everything.

  Disliked: The lift was not working for 4 out of 6 days and my parents have limited mobility it made it difficult.

  Liked: Really nice view. The host follow up and are helpful (german speaking, but google translate works fine)

  Disliked: Not much, the beach close by is a bit rocky and can be dirty some days.

  great place to stay when the owner sorts the AC tripping problem (helps if you speak some German
