  Inadequate facilities but great location

  Liked: Fantastic location, apartment is spacious, nice terrace with a beautiful view. Ines (owner/property manager) communicated promptly and was nice.

  Disliked: A few areas of “low hanging fruit” that could have made this 10/10. Facilities - this is an older apartment and it shows, which would be ok. However, what wasn’t ok was the lack in basic items and features. For a party of 8, which was the size of our group and max occupancy, one expects 8 glasses, 8 plates, 8 mugs etc. of one type, not having to scramble to serve a table. Same for towels - I would classify what we got as rags, not adequate when charged 3000€/week. No dishwasher (absolute must for 8 people), and washing machine available downstairs, but they charge 4€ per use. Seriously? Again, for 3000€/week, not ok. No shade on the terrace, rendering it useless for most of the day. A few umbrellas would go a long way. Air conditioning - this was the biggest and most unpleasant surprise. To be fair, the property neither mentions nor advertises air conditioning, and it did not occur to me to assume it would be an issue before hand bc for the price, one simply expects it for a summer vacation in Mallorca with temperatures around 35 daily. When we arrived, we learned that there are only two portable air conditioning units which were utterly inadequate, and we ended up sleeping in 28 degree heat indoors, sweating and not getting adequate rest. This place needs proper built in units that serve 3 bedrooms and the living room, not a patch up “solution” and fans. Altogether, we would not stay again as we felt the place could have been perfect if only a handful basic things got fixed. Seems like huge demand in Mallorca implies there is less incentive to invest. However, kitchenware, towels and basic shade and climate management are non negotiable when paying 3000€/ week. We somehow managed but families with younger children, less physically fit or older people would truly struggle.

  Bad Ower lovely resort

  Liked: Apartamentos villa Pros: Cala Miller is great. The apartment is well situated for walking to Cala Bona and the rest of Cala Millor. It has nice views of the sea for sure. Good fridge freezer.

  Disliked: Cons: The owner, Ines, and more... She has difficulty understanding things and what you say, causing issues. TV sat box wasn't working. She got someone (1st guy) on our last day to sort, he partially fixed, messed with cables. I said it doesn't matter now as we only had 1 day left... She then called a satellite guy (2nd guy) at cost and then blamed me as it then! It was a simple fix after 1st guy. 1st guy didn't know there was a TV or radio button you needed to press, nor me. After, as we were having our final night, she thought nothing of telling me that i owed her for the Sat guy, spoiling the whole stay. How naive and uncaring. The 1st guy was to blame if anyone other than her. I may not have mentioned, but seeing she didn't care... (pics) Cockroach's in kitchen by bin/fridge. Police closed the beach just over the road from the apartment because of sewage on the beach. That explains weird smell every so often. No aircon, only 1 fan. Relies on sea breeze, if any. Not at night. How much is your holiday worth? Nothing to the owner, Ines apparently, once she's paid. You will have a visit as she's always there. I'd never recommend or return because of her. There's other nice apartments in the same area.
