  Left after the 1st night

  Disliked: Booked a 12 night stay, left after the 1st night. This hotel needs to be avoided at all costs. 40 yo furniture with a lot of cracks in it. 1 power outlet in the whole room, which sits in the middle of the headrest making it unusable. At nights, in the summer, there are at least 30 degrees in the room. The fan that they provide doesn't make any bit of difference. It smells of mold in the room because moisture from the bathroom cannot escape anywhere. Very thin walls and doors, you can hear your neighbours from 3 rooms down. Bed is uncomfortable. Bathroom is small, cramped, and you get 2 5 ml packets of soap. Amenities in it are old, we had a cracked sink. Cleaning overall sits at 50%, there were a lot of spots with dust and dirt on them.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was horrible and very disappointing. The shower was one of the biggest problems. The water pressure was extremely poor, and I had to hold the shower head the entire time because it would constantly fall out of its holder. The shower curtain was also terrible and did not prevent the water from going everywhere, so the bathroom floor would get completely wet every time we took a shower. Another serious issue was the windows. The hinges/locks did not close or secure the windows properly, which made us feel very unsafe inside the hotel. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The mattresses were in very poor condition, made a lot of noise, and were so uncomfortable that it honestly felt like sleeping inside a pan. After eight nights sleeping there, I ended up with back pain. The breakfast was not particularly good, although I can at least say that the food seemed fresh. The room was cleaned every day and the general cleanliness was okay. However, the bed linen was not changed during our stay — the housekeeping staff would simply straighten and remake the bed using the same sheets. The towels, on the other hand, were replaced every day. Overall, the hotel needs serious improvements, especially when it comes to the bathroom, beds, maintenance and security. Based on my experience, I would not choose to stay here again.

  2 star rating is generous, not worth the price we paid

  Liked: The swimming pool looked good, the breakfast was ok

  Disliked: The room had only one accessible plug located at bed height in the middle of the double of bed, meaning if we wanted to charge phones at night they were on the bed with us. There was no safe, no kettle, no fridge, no air con. The furniture and decor was very dated. One desk fan attached to a wall which did nothing to cool the hot room down. The mirror was at head height behind a tv, making it impossible for use. The shower curtain was mouldy. The door had holes in it as if someone previously wedged a chair against it, suggesting they felt unsafe. The terrace door locked only by a chain. The terrace could be accessed by climbing over neighbors. No privacy on the terrace from neighbors. The top safety rail on the terrace was loose from the concrete and unsafe. There was no reception or locked door to the main building and any person could access the building and potentially our terrace meaning we had to keep our terrace door closed at night in uncomfortable heat.
