  Too hot, 29°C outside felt refreshing!

  Liked: The breakfast was ok. The location was also ok. The staff was friendly.

  Disliked: First of all, it was abnormally hot inside room 310. The room sits just below the roof and it is like a sauna, hot and humid. I mean, I’m used to hot weather and I am very heat resistant. But, when I stepped from the room into the corridor, the corridor felt fresh, walking down from the 3rd floor to the ground floor I noticed that it became even fresher as the heat gets trapped upstairs. Stepping from the inside onto the street, the outside felt refreshing again. The outside was at 29°C. This is no joke nor exaggeration. Check my pictures, a guy slept on the balcony because of the heat! In the room there is a ventilator, but the length of the cable is not enough in order to put it on the balcony at night. I wanted to put it there so it could push some ‘cooler’ air at night inside. So I asked reception for a cable. They wrote it down. The next day I asked again. Nothing. The 3rd day I saw a fridge and a cable in the corridor, so I asked the cleaning lady if I could take it. She told me to ask reception, so I did. Reception told me they would put the cable in my room. When I returned in the evening, again no cable. Luckily the one that was in the corridor was still there, so I just took it. Staff is friendly, but not reliable. There is no mosquito net. With the abnormally high temperature inside the room, there is no other option as to open the balcony door and the small window in the bathroom. However, now mosquitoes and other insects will enter the room, see pictures. The bed was also hard. Breakfast times could be extended, now it’s from 07:45 till 10:15. Maybe they could start at 7:00. 3 days I couldn’t have breakfast because I had appointments in the morning.
