Fabulous
Liked: I have been staying at Can Torrents with my family for over 5 years, and it continues to be a wonderful choice for us. The shared pool is a fantastic bonus—clean, well-maintained, and a great spot for the family to relax and cool off. One of the best features is the peaceful atmosphere. It’s nicely tucked away from the main noise, so you can count on quiet nights and a restful sleep. It’s also in a prime location: just a pleasant 15-minute walk to the beach, and perfectly situated if you want to take quick day trips by car to both Barcelona and Tarragona. We highly recommend it to families looking for a clean, quiet, and conveniently located place to stay!
An apartment in a grand house
Liked: Full of character, exceptionally clean, had everything you could need. Modern clean outdoor pool with plenty of sunbeds. Joseph (manager) was very helpful and very kind.
Disliked: Nothing
A great base, fab pool and staff attentive to our needs
Liked: Beautiful setting and grounds. Kids loved the swimming pool. Nice to have our own private area to sit with a BBQ. Super friendly staff - thank you.
Disliked: It was exceptionally hot whilst we were there and AC would have been welcomed HOWEVER we knew that it didn’t have it before booking and bedrooms all had fans.
Bedbug infestation
Disliked: Reservamos esta propiedad a través de Booking.com y, durante nuestra estadía, descubrimos una infestación de chinches. La primera picadura apareció la segunda noche, pero como nunca antes habíamos sido picados por chinches, pensamos que podría tratarse de otro insecto. La manta que cubría la cama tenía unas manchas negras que al principio no notamos, ya que por el calor no nos estábamos tapando al dormir. Además, notamos que otras sábanas también tenían esas mismas manchitas, lo que sugiere que el problema no era aislado a nuestra habitación sino algo más generalizado en el lugar. El último día, al sacar las sábanas, encontramos chinches muertas y vivas caminando cerca de los pies de la cama y debajo de la almohada. Al buscar información, confirmamos que las manchas negras eran heces de chinches y que las picaduras coincidían con su patrón característico. Al reportar el problema, la única solución que nos ofrecieron fue lavar nuestra ropa en sus lavadoras o, alternativamente, enviarles recibos de lavandería. Les explicamos que esto no era viable: eran las 10 de la mañana y nuestro vuelo salía a las 4 de la tarde, pero estamos a 90 minutos de Barcelona, debíamos facturar maleta al ser un vuelo internacional, y el tren llevaba toda la semana con retrasos. Un ciclo completo de lavado y secado —que es lo mínimamente recomendado para tratar una infestación de chinches— no cabía en el tiempo real disponible una vez descontado el viaje al aeropuerto, el margen de seguridad por los retrasos del tren, y el tiempo necesario para el chequeo de equipaje en un vuelo internacional. Ellos insistieron en que "teníamos tiempo de sobra", sin considerar estos factores. Respecto a la opción de lavandería en destino, al llegar a nuestro destino final no habría lavanderías abiertas a esa hora.

Liked: The location is very convenient for the beach, shops and public transport. The beach is kids’ friendly. The swimming pool is lovely and the kids spent a lot of time there. The apartments are spacious and clean. The territory is gated, so the kids were playing safely. The staff are helpful and friendly.
Disliked: There is only one key per apartment and it is an inconvenience if you have four adults going to the beach, shopping and for a walk. We were lucky to get a spare fob key for the gate, as the staff are very friendly, but this is not a default position. There are coffee makers, but no kettles- we brought our own travel one. As a suggestion, I would recommend to keep some minimal amount of soap, salt, sugar, oil and matches in the apartments. It’s not a problem to buy, but it’s a bit of a waste.

Please note towels and bed linen are not included and can be rented on site for an extra cost of EUR 6 per item, per week.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in.
