A Hidden Gem in the Heart of the Catalan Countryside – An Unforgettable Stay!
Liked: Our stay at Mas Teixidor, Masia entre Girona y la Costa Brava was truly one of the most beautiful and memorable experiences of our trip to Spain. I honestly don't know where to begin, because this place offers so much more than just accommodation. It gives you a feeling of peace, comfort, and being welcomed into a home away from home. First, I have to talk about the wonderful people who made our stay so special. Alex, Nani, and Cesca are among the kindest and most genuine people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Their hospitality, warmth, and attention to every little detail made us feel like family rather than guests. Alex went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Nani was always welcoming and helpful, and Cesca's delicious homemade food brought a special warmth to the experience. Her cooking makes you feel like you're sitting at a family table, enjoying a meal prepared with love. What an amazing family! The villa itself is absolutely charming, surrounded by beautiful countryside, breathtaking views, and the peaceful sounds of nature. Our room was comfortable, with a lovely view that made waking up every morning a pleasure. The atmosphere is so quiet and relaxing that you almost forget about the busy world outside. And here is something I would love to tell anyone planning a trip to Barcelona: Don't let the excitement of Barcelona make you miss the incredible beauty and history hidden in the villages of Catalonia! One of the greatest things about staying at Mas Teixidor is its wonderful location. It is within reach of some of the most beautiful medieval villages we visited, including Peratallada, Pals, and Begur. Walking through their narrow cobblestone streets, surrounded by ancient stone buildings, historic walls, castles, and centuries of history, feels like traveling back in time. Every corner tells a story. These villages have a beauty and character that you simply cannot experience in a busy modern city.

Liked: Very friendly staff, fascinating house, lots of character, nice pool.
Disliked: No air conditioning but there was an effective ceiling fan.
Liked: We absolutely loved it and left some parts of our hearts in this beautiful place and surroundings. Perfect for cyclists or family trips. We stayed in apartments, and it was fully equipped. Lovely hosts provided us with everything we needed. Special kudos to your lovely dogs too! Def would come back when it's possible!
Unique and outstanding place to stay with excellent dining
Liked: A truly unique and outstanding place to stay with excellent dining. The house dates back to the 17th century and has been tastefully and sensitively renovated. It is family-run, creating a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Guests can enjoy an outdoor swimming pool and pleasant outdoor areas, as well as a billiards table inside. Everything was impeccably clean throughout our stay. The breakfast was generous, with a wide selection of cheeses and cold cuts, along with delicious fresh bread. Dinners are also available and we highly recommend them – there is a clear emphasis on high-quality, often homemade ingredients. Every meal was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The host is extremely accommodating and kind – even though we arrived late at night, everything was handled smoothly and with a smile. It’s clear they genuinely care about making guests feel comfortable and welcome. This is a truly exceptional place to stay, and we wholeheartedly recommend it!

Liked: Beautiful house in a quiet environment. Spacious and silent room with a very comfortable bed. Friendly owners, and they always react immediately at any question. You have the opportunity to have dinner. I recommend to.do so because they cook very nice local meals.
