  Lovely apartment, will definitely be back

  Liked: The location is ideal for restaurants and bars, and also a lovely walk along the front to the beach. Vickie and Max were so friendly and helpful, we were left a welcome pack which was really thoughtful. Apartment is well equipped with everything you need to cook (although we didn't) coffee machine and pods, washing machine, pool towels, they have thought of everything. We struggled the first night with the heat but Vickie brought us over a fan within a couple of hours of us mentioning it and that really helped. Pool was lovely and clean and we never struggled to get sunbeds. Everyone was also very friendly, all the neighbours we walked past in their gardens said hello and made conversation.

  Disliked: We found the ceiling fans weren't enough in the heat but was quickly rectified when mentioned.

  Excellent accomodation

  Liked: Excellent accomodation. Very comfortable. Vickie gave us a warm personal greeting. The pool was great, and the area is well served by bars and restaurants but it was still quiet and peaceful.

  Vicky and Max are great hosts and provide a welcome pack that goes above and beyond. Having all the necessary bits to sa

  Liked: The location was great, very central, the complex was clean and well kept and no need to fight for a subbed. The property itself was modern, clean and well kept. The beds were very comfy. The welcome pack was above and beyond and very much appreciated. Having a washing machine was also very handy.

  Another excellent stay at Castillo Mar

  Liked: We have been to a similar one of Vickie's properties a couple of times before. They are well kitted out, have just what we need and are great value for money. They have cleaning supplies and toiletries to get you going and have a wine and milk too. #32 doesn't face the road so there's no traffic noise. This also means it's a bit later before the sun comes around. That suits us fine because it means the property doesn't get too hot.

  Disliked: One tiny thing was the sofa shedding its coating - from previous experience we know that this will be on the list for replacement as the owner likes to keep everything ship shape
