Exceptional
Liked: Excellent location, it's really close to the beach and to the historic quarter.
Disliked: There is some little room for improvement regarding cleanliness.
Wonderful apartment for short or long term family or friends stay by the beach
Liked: Excellent apartment 2 blocks from the beach, on the main road of Calpe. Very clean, bedrooms were great; fully equipped for our 3 day stay (coffee maker, iron and ironing board, sandwich grill, hangers in the wardrobes, clothes pegs/pins to dry clothes on the balcony, fans, tv, wifi...), nice big balcony and lots of light in the living room/kitchen areas, quiet building, and host (Boris) is very communicative before arrival and during the stay, checking in on us. Air conditioning is on the living room and rooms have big fans; but we let the AC on for a couple hours while having dinner out and it really made the whole apartment cold (even the rooms). While located on a very busy area and a main street during peak holiday season, we really had no issue finding spots for parking on the same street in 2-hour parking blocks (Tarifa azul) until 8pm, or 2 streets to the side, during the 3 days (You can also pay your parking with the ElParking app without the need to get a ticket on the street machines). Located 2 blocks from the beach and seafront (full of wonderful restaurants, ice cream shops, etc), and a few blocks down from the Old Town (10 min walk). We loved the stay here and would stay again!
Disliked: There is really nothing we did not like about this apartment or our communications with the host.
Liked: It is a comfortable apartment, everything you need in the kitchen is present. It is quite quiet, not noisy at night. It is very close to grocery stores, which makes shopping for the family easy and stress-free. The beach is also nearby. We were satisfied with the local atmosphere.
Wonderful stay in calpe
Liked: We were welcomed by Boris who was so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us We have stayed in the apartment before and yet again we were not disappointed. The apartment was very clean and close to the beach and bars. We will definitely be booking to stop there again Thank you again for a wonderful stay Keith, nicky and family
Definitely not Exceptional. Great location, awful management
Liked: The location is great, central and close to the beach. The apartment is modern and clean. Huge potential with the apartment itself, if they have better management it would deserve a rating of 8. The host lady was kind enough to let us stay a couple of extra hours on the check out day, so our child cold have her nap (i added 2 review points 4 -> 6 in gratitude for that)
Disliked: The management was a total mess. There was a very young guy started sending multiple messages to arrange check-in the day before and asking me questions I had already answered in the booking (annoying). Still, when we arrived it was a total mess, and there were multiple unpleasant surprises... 1. Free Parking is about 12-15 mins walk away. 2. The keys are not at the flat, but need to be picked up for another address 3. The person handing over the keys didnt have a single word of English so that was a hassle. Then the flat itself was not well equipped. Kitchen was not functional, and missed multiple basic necessities (eg kettle, pot etc). When I made some requests, there as a rude response from the young guy. This place has huge potential - but the owner needs to review the equipment provided and get better management. We also found the place the opposite of cosy... it felt like a hospital and the lights were so bright/white they literally made my child cry.
