  Lovely villa, erroneous listing details

  Liked: The spaciousness of the villa, the air con. in communal areas was wonderful. The garden was spacious. The location is a 5 min walk to the beach, the beach itself was lovely with shallow waters for children, there were restaurants along the beach but need to book ahead at weekends. The nearby shop was excellent. The owner was very repsponsive and friendly. The sun loungers in the garden were great and we used them a lot. The steps from the back gate down to the shop were handy, but not well maintained and a little scary in places.

  Disliked: I have never been anywhere, where I had to strip the beds and wash the bedding and towels before we left, but that did save us €13 per person. Unfortunately the weather was extremely hot and though listed as air conditioned this was only in the communal areas, so not the bedrooms. We had to keep bedroom doors open to allow the cold air from the hallway into the rooms (there were ceiling fans but only one out of three, worked well). The access to the pool, although listed as at extra charge, was not organised and when we enquired at the hotel across the way, they told us we couldn't use their pool but could pay to use their sports club. There were no instructions on how to do this and when I looked on-line it was 20+ euros for the day including a buffet lunch. The owner had said that if we gave them the villa number, we might get a discount. We had eaten at the sports club and the food was not good, so we decided not to bother with the pool, we did use the beach which was family friendly and we took sand mats provided in the villa. There was no children's play area as listed, I expected to find a slide or swing in the garden. I think the issue I am unhappy with is the misleading listing on booking.com, rather than the owners or quality and cleanliness of the villa.

  Nice villa, the advert is totally falsifying what facilities are available, there is no pool even though there a picture

  Liked: The villa it’s self was nice, in a quiet location, had nice garden

  Disliked: The advert is false for the villa facilities, it describes use of a pool, exercise classes, dining area and cocktails, all of which are not true. The pool belongs to a nearby spa and is totally separate this has to be paid for at £140 per person to access.

  Disliked: Pillows & duvets could have been higher quality. Beds could have been made ready for our arrival. We also had to wash all sheets before our departure. Apart from that very minor quibble, everything was perfect!!
