  Carmona is a gem, and Casa Xanadu is a perfect base from which to explore it

  Liked: Good communication with Adriana, light airy apartment, simple but attractive decor, clean, comfortable bed and sofa, abundant hot water, very efficient heating ( which was welcome in the evenings in January!) would recommend these apartments without hesitation.

  Disliked: Not a complaint but to make people aware, even in January it was difficult to find a car parking space close to the apartment ( although it’s possible to stop briefly to load and unload) There is a free public car park about 300m away but we only found it by accident - it’s not clearly signposted.

  Perfect and very quiet stay

  Liked: The apartment had plenty of natural light and lots of space. The location was very good too. It was quiet and easy access

  Fabulous location. Apartment let down by poor maintenance

  Disliked: Many issues like a rickety bed, leaking showertray had been raised many times in reviews previous occupants but not resolved. This is a great shame because in principle these are lovely apartments let down by poor maintenance

  Great location with loads of potential to be something special

  Liked: Nice location with easy parking and good outlook. Support team tried to be helpful but couldn't fix everything.

  Disliked: Lift wasn't working and no explanation offered. Nespresso machine wasn't working and no replacement available. The view wasn't quite as expansive as suggested. Towels were threadbare and ripped. Kitchen sponges were leftovers from previous users! Old Carmona is a complex little hill town which we would have enjoyed a lot more if there had been more info for guests on arrival. We were eventually able to work it out for ourselves thanks to Google Maps and a lot of walking.
