Incredible views and location
Liked: The location is unbeatable. We had an economy room with a side sea view and it was breathtaking to sea both the cliffs and the sea right in front of us. The beds were comfortable and we found plenty of options to eat at breakfast, especially liked the tortilla and the fresh orange juice. There’s a staircase which you can take directly from the reception to access the beach. The reception staff spoke really good English and was very kind.
Disliked: Limited parking in front of the hotel and it comes with an extra cost of €15. The staff at breakfast was a bit grumpy.
Great location
Liked: Beautiful location on the beachfront. Stunning views and still just a short pleasant walk to the old town. No Aircon so open windows and feel the breeze, listen to waves lap overnight. Bliss.
Disliked: We didn't have to interact with staff much, since it was only one night. So the critical moment was on check in, and it was fine though cold. Not welcoming, no instructions about where the room is, whether it's our first time (could have shared there is a direct path to the beach, try our excellent restaurant etc). A missed opportunity for them. Check out was less cold but it was just a 10s transaction. Drop the key - it's fully paid, goodbye. No "how was your stay, thank you, see you again". Oh well.
