  Disliked: My only bit of feedback is The bathrooms need hand towels or tissue to dry your hands And the fridges need to be regularly checked as there was a lot of food not that many people there

  Great hostel, good location, great staff!

  Liked: The hospitality of the staff and the hostel is located central. The hostel organizes great activities such as a bbq and sundown at the beach.

  Disliked: During the breakfast a manager came and she was unfriendly to a staffmember. He didn’t deserve that. He is a hardworking person. It was very unprofessional of her that we witness that. She spoke to him unfriendly twice.

  Cute, friendly, central hostel with breakfast included!

  Liked: The staff really made this place. Special shoutout to Grig, who always went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time, and taking extra measures to keep things quiet and clean at night, not an easy task but done with exceptional patience. The vibe here felt communal (shared breakfast at the table was really nice), but also not a wild party hostel. Location: perfect. 10/10, thanks guys ❤️ 🌊

  Liked: I stayed here a year ago and stayed here once again for 2 weeks. I love the community of Sol y mar! Gabriel, the volunteer working there, was also quite friendly and organized several meetups. The 3-person room itself was also pretty nice. The whole property is kept quite clean and has plenty of bathrooms. The location is also perfect! I was learning Spanish and surfing and kite surfing. All of these schools were within walking distance. Also, the main nightlife area is walkable from the property. It can be a bit hot in the room during summers, but I had my own fan, so there were no issues for me.

  Disliked: The bed I was sleeping on was slightly broken at the bottom, which I think should be fixed.

  Amazing!

  Liked: Amazing place! Facilities are clean and good, there is a breakfast space with large table, a living room with desk, multiple showers and toilets which were always clean, separated patio to dry clothes, and am amazing rooftop with super large communal table, daybeds and grill! Would definitely come back. The staff made my stay even better. 10/10!
