  Nice place

  Liked: The villa is very large and spacious. We stayed there as a group of eight, and there was more than enough room for everyone to feel comfortable. It is very well equipped, especially the kitchen, which has everything you could possibly need for cooking and preparing meals. There are plenty of bathrooms and toilets, so even with eight people, this was never an issue. The villa also has two large terraces, perfect for relaxing, having meals together, and enjoying a barbecue. Overall, everything was very comfortable and well thought out. We had a wonderful stay and were very happy with the villa. There is also private parking for two cars, and the garage is very easy and convenient to access. The garage is very well equipped with lots of useful things for enjoying the sea and outdoor activities. There are paddleboards, plenty of equipment for children, and many other items that make your stay even more enjoyable and convenient. It was a lovely bonus to have all of this available at the villa, especially for families or anyone planning to spend time by the sea.

  Disliked: The air conditioning is only available on the upper floor. However, we found the bedrooms comfortable at night and didn’t feel too hot while sleeping.

  Very disappointing stay due to poor hygiene, maintenance issues and misleading facilities

  Liked: The location was good and the pool location was good.

  Disliked: I would like to make a formal complaint regarding the condition of the villa during our stay. The mattress on the second floor was badly stained and had a very strong smell of urine. The smell was extremely unpleasant and made us not want to sleep on the mattress at all. Unfortunately, we had no other choice. The smell of stale urine was very noticeable, and we found the condition of the mattress disgusting and completely unacceptable for paying guests. There was also a chair outside the bedroom that repeatedly had faecal matter and urine on it. Every day we had to remove and deal with this ourselves because the smell was horrendous. This was extremely unhygienic and not something guests should have to experience while staying in holiday accommodation. The villa was also advertised as having air conditioning plus a fans, which gave us the impression that adequate air conditioning would be available. However, there was only one A/C unit in the entire villa, located in the bedroom on the third floor. This was completely inadequate for the rest of the property. There were several other maintenance issues. The third-floor bathroom window would not close and was stuck open. The keys were also difficult to put into the locks because they were bent. Overall, the villa badly needs updating, along with a thorough inspection of its cleanliness and maintenance. The urine-stained mattress and the faecal matter and urine on the chair were particularly unacceptable and created an extremely unpleasant and unhygienic environment. The condition of the property was certainly not what we expected from the description and advertisement, and it had a significant negative impact on our stay. We feel that these issues, particularly the serious hygiene problems and the discrepancy regarding the air conditioning, warrant an appropriate response and compensation.

  April Stay at Sunset beach

  Liked: We had a really enjoyable family stay at Sunset Beach Villa. Travelling as a group of two adults and three teenagers, the space worked perfectly for us all. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed during our stay, which made self-catering easy and convenient. The bedrooms were comfortable, ensuring everyone got a good night’s rest after busy days. We especially loved the outdoor areas — there were plenty of spaces to relax, and they provided great shelter from the wind, making it enjoyable to spend time outside. The walk into town is about 2.5 km, which is a bit of a trek, but we found it manageable and a nice way to take in the surroundings. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would happily recommend Sunset Beach Villa for a relaxed family getaway.

  Disliked: The only small downside for us was the lack of beach towels. Including these would make it even more convenient for guests, especially those travelling light.

  Liked: Beautiful villa developed on 4 floors (-1 to 2), with large spaces on every floor and provided with everything you need for your stay. The pool was under repair, but Tom offered us early check-in and late checkout for the inconvenience. Excellent position, 5 mins far by car from the best places in Corralejo. Excellent quality/price ratio. Staff was always available and fast in responses.
