  Overall a pleasant stay in a nice location and hotel

  Liked: Food, rooms, hotel in general was very nice. Staff were really efficient and friendly. Overall a very nice place to stay. I recommend this place for families with small children

  Disliked: Coffee not available in the canteen at lunch and dinner, no real explanation from anyone why this is. Africa Bar closes at 6pm, this is a lovely bar in a quiet spot, better if it closed at 8pm even. Not much for teenagers to do here, it would be good if there was a basketball court, or football pitch where maybe they could hang out and mingle

  Enjoyed my stay

  Liked: Very relaxing environment with beautiful views. Easy access to beach, shops, bus stop. Good food, plenty. Friendly staff. Pools areas and bars are great.

  Disliked: There was nothing I didn't like. Perhaps as a solo traveller I'd have preferred a less remote room accessible via a terrace door. I didn't realise this was a possibility but I didn't ask to change the room as it seemed alright to be there.

  Poor hotel in wonderful location

  Liked: Location is perfect.

  Disliked: The hotel is old and requires a lot of repairs, facilities in room were basically disintegrating. All inclusive food was rather poor especially breakfasts, and lunches. During the reservation we asked for a room being quiet and closest to the ocean. However, we got the room that was over main swimming pool with loud music, and far away from the ocean. Because of that we asked for shortening our stay, and the answer we got from the hotel staff was "you can always leave earlier the room, but we will not refund you any money"

  Liked: We liked the location most

  Disliked: Three days was raining and the water came inside the room. We placed towels on the floor but the staff did not mind to come and dry the floors. The beds were really hard but the bedding were cleaned. The food was very repititive everyday and lack of flavours, only one day when they gave us the questionary on the top of the tables the food was better.

  Liked: Close proximity to the beach and bus stop.

  Disliked: I was very disappointed with this hotel. The first thing was the cracked and broken floor tiles and basic reception area. There was no tea and coffee making facilities in my room so I couldn't get a cup of tea in a morning until the restaurant, (it was more like a canteen) opened at 8am. This is not good for people who are early risers. There was no English channels on TV either. The pool area was dirty and full of litter from overflowing bins and there were cracked and broken tiles around the pool. The pool had debris in it. I didn't go in for a swim. The ceiling in my room was painted purple but had white water stains on it. The food was ok but don't try the pork loin. Its like shoe leather. Costa Calma is very quiet. Nothing to do. No shops or water sports. OK if you are looking for a q uiet holida y on the beach. Overall I was glad to get back home.
