  Very enjoyable. Very relaxing

  Liked: Gunilla was really welcoming and a superb host. Costa Teguise is an excellent resort. The apartment was very comfortable, sufficiently spacious for two adults and two children and in a great location. A range of different Restaurants were three minutes away and it is five minutes from the beach (admittedly with stairs up/down). There was a big free carpark nearby (in fact all the carparks on the island seem to be free!). An excellent and welcoming golf course was ten minutes drive.

  Disliked: Nothing really. The single bed matrices could be a bit thicker. Also more teaspoons please.

  Well equipped, centrally located apartment with everything we needed for a week's stay

  Liked: The property was extremely well equipped with everything we need for a week's stay. The location was superb, right in the middle of Costa Teguise with easy access to many shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and takeways. Everything we needed was in walking distance as was the coastal path which made for some good walks. Key collection was easy; we'd been in contact with Gunilla beforehand so knew where to meet her to pick up the keys and communication with her was spot on. The apartment was nice and spacious, with plenty of room for three adults and we found the beds were comfortable. The water for our showers was always hot and the water pressure was great throughout our stay. We particularly liked the outside terrace, with plenty of room for sunbathing. Although the apartment is in the middle of Costa Teguise, noise wasn't an issue for us and the property felt secure too.

  Disliked: There were a few things we felt could be improved on. The pull out bin unit under the sink doesn't work and we stopped using it after one of us cut her hand trying to push it back in. We'd suggest taking the whole unit out to prevent further injuries. The bathmat was a bit whiffy (day 2) - no problem as we washed it however, it noticeably changed colour after we'd washed it so it makes us wonder how long it had been since it's last wash. Likewise the throw on the sofa, it smelt of BO so again we washed it, which wasn't a problem for us. There also appears to be some sort of insect activity in the kitchen windowsill and under a chair in the living area, which the host appears to be aware of as there are insect traps on the windowsill, but still a little unnerving.

  Liked: Casa Melera is in an ideal location just a few steps to the beach and to many restaurants. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were kindly left beach and shower towels.The beds were comfy and the apartment was clean. Check in and out was very easy.

  Disliked: Nothing major. One small thing, the patio area is a gorgeous sun trap but the cushions on the sun beds could do with updating. We had a small problem with ants but Gunilla came with traps as soon as we mentioned it to her.

  Relaxing stay in a good location, good tv programmes, plenty of space and Gunila is lovely, very helpful and very pleasa

  Liked: Brilliant location, although close to the centre it was very quiet. The private patio was a sun trap. Gunilla, the host, was such a lovely lady and couldn't do enough to make our stay as good as it was.
