  Lovely Host/owner, very helpful as we stayed over New Year so many places were closed or closing early

  Liked: Lovely quiet location, nicely located away from the road up a winding hillside road and perfectly placed between Deba and Mutrikuko

  Very nice and quiet. Amazing place in the country side

  Liked: The place is dreamy, the view is beautiful and it feels like you are really in the country side. The staff and the family over there are amazing people, they gave us great recommendations and took care of us amazingly.

  Disliked: The Breakfast was nice and enough, i would like it to with a bit more verity, but it mostly since i have food restrictions. Also since it is a shared bathroom there is no much privacy.

  A welcoming home where you can fall asleep to the sound of the sea

  Liked: A beautiful home, gorgeous sea views, wonderful mountain trails nearby, genuinely dog friendly, delicious breakfast-gluten free was catered for, the owner and family were extremely friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

  Disliked: Nothing not to like. Sadly we don’t speak Basque or Spanish… despite this we were able to communicate but not as much as I would have liked.

  Paradise

  Liked: This little slice of paradise, tucked away in the mountains, with a beautiful ocean view was everything we were looking for. Great location to visit towns in the area (ask the host Iñaki for recommendations, he has many and loves to share some of the history!) The home radiates cosiness and welcomes you with open arms. Don't expect a spotless, high-end hotel, but prepare for a beautiful experience.

  If travelling by car and not bothered by dogs barking... worth considering

  Liked: The view from the balcony over the sea was beautiful. The inside of the property felt very "genuine" and much more of a homestay than a hotel. The man in charge was charming.

  Disliked: The property was surrounded by dogs that barked continuously. The barks echoed around the mountains the property backed onto. The property is built up a steep sided hill - unless you are very fit, practically it is only accessible by car. 3 light bulbs in the bedroom didn't work. This was reported, and despite assurances, they weren't fixed. Parking would be tricky if you had a large or long vehicle.
