Exceptional
Special place to stay in
Liked: It is the most lovely place to stay. It is comfortable, has great character, is perfectly located and has all the basics for making breakfast and refreshments. We were concerned about arriving on Saturday afternoon by bus, but our hosts had left us with a set of supplies to keep us going. It turned out there is a food shop almost outside the door too.
Disliked: This place has an older quirky style which is refreshing and warm. I particularly appreciated this as I don't like the modern bland style that is so popular. One thing.. we did Learn not to run the basin tap while the other was showering.
We had a wonderful time
Liked: In the middle of town, in a monumental building. We felt very welcome.
I had a terrific time, walked to beach, great ocean pool. Great geology. Town is steep, good hiking
Liked: Breakfast not included, coffee machine and refrig in apartment. Taverns and stores were close by. Ammonite museum, information and beach within walking distance. Easy to get to, bus from Deba. Very quiet at night. Very clean.
