Good
Liked: Clean comfortable accommodation in a pleasant town with regular buses to Alicante. Many good bars, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Small rooms but I had a balcony which was a bonus.
Disliked: Late check in (16.30) and WiFi didn't work (as mentioned in other reviews). No kettle or coffee making facilities but otherwise a good option for a stay near Alicante.

Disliked: A little far from Alicante Center BUT if you looking to disconnect from the world.. it’s great! So it’s really up to your preferences.
Liked: Very clean, had a balcony. Air conditioning was good. Matress is ok.
Disliked: The window blind is not making the room dark - it is very bright in the morning. The table was broken so i couldn't use it. In order to get to the balcony, you have to jump over the bed. I asked the staff through text if there is a free parking - they just said yes but without giving me any details. Fortunately i found a big free parking nearby but when i got to the hotel i realised they had their own parking just in front of the hotel - if the staff had mentioned that it would have saved me a lot of time looking for a parking.
dont recommend it but if there are no other options its acceptable
Liked: The hotel was near the bus station for bus 23. nearby there are some restaurants and bars ordering food to the room is no problem all though the signs tell us not to eat in the room. smoking was allowed on the balcony. clean shower but some spots had a litte bit of black mold. there is an elevator old but good the room has two curtains one is for blackout and one for privacy
Disliked: when we arrived there was nobody at the reception a guy on a e scooter arrived and after some troubles gave us our room key. when we first entered the room we were greeted with a unpleasant smell coming from the toilet. the soap dispenser in the toilet was broken. there was a bloodstain on my blanket. the room itself was small but that was expected. we stayed 2 nights and on our first night we woke up at 8 am to some construction workers outside. there were also people right above our room moving furniture for 2 hours straight. we also had a woman banging on our door to ask if we wanted any cleaning which we find unnecessary and disturbing. the second night was pleasant but we got rushed out of our room at 11:30 even though the website says we are allowed to stay until 12:00. (we also had asked the night before via booking.com when to check out but got an answer 6 hours after we had already left our hotel. overall the responses to our messages were always late or we never got a response)
Basic accommodation but user friendly for a short stay
Liked: Location was very good. Close to bars, restaurants and shops. Location was quiet during the evenings and night. A balcony room is a must as the rooms are tiny. Plenty of hot water in shower. Large TV and aircon. WiFi excellent.
Disliked: The beds are very old however, they were comfortable. The sheets and pillows were clean. The blankets and bed covers were not. There were no hooks to hang anything on doors and the wardrobe was difficult to access as the doors opened onto a bed. The whole building needs refurbishing as its looking very tired. However.... we needed a place to stay for two days and three nights with good access to San Joan, a good sleep and somewhere to park. The Pension did provide all these.
