  Liked: Accommodation and facilities were superb.. Villa Marco square just 5 mins walking distance. Great supermarket, chemist and cafe /bar. 20 minute slow walk down to the excellent sandy beach with fantastic tram links to Alicante and Benidorm.

  Disliked: Slightly enclosed garden spaces, but that's probably just the Spanish way.

  Great stay at the Villamarco Beach Home!

  Liked: The apartment was lovely and beautifully decorated. We appreciated the pool for cooling down, and the fabulous patio + garden which was a real sun trap. It was nice to have the bottle of wine left for us, and the hairdryer with the diffuser was great, if you have curly hair. The Mercadona supermarket is a few minutes walk away, and the beach + trams are 10 minutes walk. There were beach towels, chairs and parasol for use which was really useful for a day at the beach. The hosts Rosa & Ignacio were always available and answered any questions straight away, they were extremely helpful.

  Exceptional apartment

  Liked: Everything was perfect. The facilities were nice and spacious, easily fitting four people, with two full bathrooms and two terraces bringing another level of comfort. The backyard terrace was our favorite spot. The cleanliness of the apartment is at an exceptionally high level. The hosts are very polite and helpful. This is actually the first time I have stayed in an apartment that exceeded my expectations in every way. It's even better in person than in the pictures, which never happens. We will definitely come back to this apartment.

  Lovely apartment, location a bit different than expected

  Liked: The apartment was super clean, very spacious and the 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 patios were such a luxury! It was nicely decorated, you could see that a lot of thought and effort was put into it. It made us feel comfortable and right at home. And Rosa was very reachable and gave such a good service!

  Disliked: We loved the tranquility of the location, but we did think restaurants/bars were more in the direct vicinity of the apartment, and they weren't. The closest were at the beach (15-20 min walk) and there were only a few and very widely spread. We thought the beach would have been more like a promenade, with plenty of restaurants and maybe stores. You can go to Campella if you like something like that (5k walk, or a few stops with tram).
