  Perfectly peaceful and tranquil place to stay with all the outdoor adventure you could want on the doorstep

  Liked: Absolutely everything, location is so tranquil, perfect place to for Caminto del Rey it is 4 min walk from the finish point of the walk.comfortable quiet, all you need to cook was just perfect for what I wanted.the start of Siendo Haza del Rio walk to the Arabic Stairs is on the doorstep.

  Disliked: Nothing, it was perfect can’t wait to go back.El Chorro itself is amazing.

  Liked: The apartment was fully equipped. Bathroom was very spacious and lovely outside seating area with amazing views.

  Fantastic stay

  Liked: Great location. Quiet, nestled in the mountains. A beautiful traditional Spanish courtyard where we enjoyed wine, food and the serenity. Close to restaurants and bars.

  Disliked: It was a disaster. The region had recently been flooded, and many people were affected. Unfortunately, because of the flooding and continued rain, the train service had been suspended for more than three weeks by the time we arrived. Tickets were still being sold, so we only discovered the disruption on the day of travel. The host, who operates at least two accommodation facilities in the area, claimed not to know about the situation. When contacted for advice, no useful information was provided—only a brief suggestion to take a bus after back and forth. However, what would normally be a 40-minute train ride turned into almost two hours of travel with a bus transfer. Even though assistance was requested, no practical guidance was given. Some updates about the situation in advance would have been extremely helpful. They know that we did not have a car, that the water supply in the area had been affected by the rain, and that we were already encountering difficulties with public transport. Despite this, there was no advice to bring drinking water or prepare for these issues. We had been in contact two days before arrival and again on the day itself, yet the communication provided no meaningful help. The host suggested going to a single shop in town but failed to mention that it opens irregularly depending on when the owner decides to open (as confirmed by Google reviews). Unsurprisingly, it was closed on the rainy day we arrived. No alternative solution was offered, leaving us without shower water or drinking water overnight. When asking about transportation, the host also had no information about the bus schedule and simply told us to take the bus on Saturday, without providing any further details or assistance. Of course the bus doesn’t run on Sunday so we were stuck after checking out. The place itself is no more than a cave, the charge is high and no information, no help and no support.
