  Liked: Excellent detailed instructions on how to reach the property from Juan who answered all our questions promptly. Rural campo house with a few neighbours but only 10 mins stroll to restaurants in El Chorro. Good WiFi and air conditioning in bedrooms. Not a problem for us but something that may be important for those with reduced mobility.... the access to the property is up a steep pathway with parking for cars at the bottom of the slope. Also even though there is supposed to be a little supermarket in El Chorro we never found it open so the nearest supermarket is probably Ardeles so it is best to buy your provisions before you arrive at the property.

  Fabulous apartment, not fancy but everthing you need, amazing views!

  Liked: Great property. Need to be fit to get up the path to the property. No problem for us. We were there for climbing and walking so perfect 👌 location. Well equipped kitchen, lovely terrace & anazing views. Very good communication and prompt info from owner.

  Disliked: Need more info about the basics e.g. drinking tap water or not, asked to empty bins but no idea where the closest one was,where is the nearest supermarket. We could only find bins and recycling on main road after the station. Some of the garden furniture needs updating. However, this is being picky as we loved it and would definitely go back there.

  Beautiful and really well-equipped house with an incredible view

  Liked: The house is really well equipped with everything you need and very clean and comfortable. The view is incredible and it's close to everything you will need to access. Really convenient if you are travelling by train.

  Disliked: It was a bit difficult to find as it isn't well signposted. It's up a narrow, steep path so would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues or who doesn't have the energy to walk up the hill every day. However, we did manage to find it without getting totally lost and we had the host's phone number in case of problems. The steep path was fine for us - the reward is the view at the end.

  Great views in a reasonably OK apartment

  Liked: The view, especially from the balcony is great. The terrace is great too, but only has half view as the roof of the house below is partly blocking it. Walking back from Caminito del Rey and hiking starts right at the apartment.

  Disliked: Mold in the bathroom and partially also in a bedroom. That didn’t feel very clean. The shower (pipes, tab, rain shower) need to be replaced, very old and dirty (but more than enough hot water, which was good). The owner uses El Nido as a name for his apartment. This name is copied (stolen?) from a very well rated hotel that is close. Kind of pathetic. Be aware, this apartment has nothing to do with the El Nido hotel/restaurant and it’s good reviews.
