  Exceptional place to unwind

  Liked: It was an exceptional stay for us. We were looking for a peaceful place in nature to unwind. But we found there so much more. You get the breathtaking view and direct access to the lake. Everything is just in place, the room equipment is simple, yet include exactly what is needed. The hosts are incredibly kind.

  Tap water is not potable. Bring water to drink!

  Liked: The room was spacious and adorable! I loved swimming in the lake!! Great place to watch the night sky.

  Disliked: There is no potable water which was not mentioned in the description. Had I known, I would have brought a large container of potable water. There are liter bottles to buy, but you have to have cash.

  Beautiful views for a relaxing, tranquil holiday

  Liked: The apartment is beautifully decorated and the views are stunning. It is so secluded and is the perfect place to go if wanting to relax. You can access the lake from the property or at several points within a short drive and there are lovely walks you can access from El Arpa.

  A beautiful peaceful spot

  Liked: El Arpa is perfectly placed in the centre of a very scenic part of Andalusia. Our room which overlooked the lake was beautifully decorated by our hosts and the patio is filled with plants. During our stay we walked the Caminito del Rey and visited Antequera and the magnificent Torcal de Antequera. We enjoyed being surrounded by beautiful countryside.

  Paradise found!

  Liked: Location is just superb, it has a very 'out in the wilds' feel to it and the view of the lake is just beautiful. Car is definitely needed as it is very remote. The finca itself is beautiful, it has a stunning garden area with various sunbeds etc. This is a place for peace and quiet - please never change this! Kayak hire is available about 2km down the road from a lovely man, excellently priced too.

  Disliked: It was 41° for a few days when we were there. The ceiling fan did very little to help. But, they are not in control of the weather
