  Liked: Very clean hostel with friendly, attentive staff. Paco (Francisco) was exceptionally helpful and kindly assisted me with exchanging my money so I had local currency in cash for my next attraction. I would definitely recommend staying here!

  Liked: My mother and I stayed one night at this beautiful hostel. We didn’t want to stay in Antequera, just 20 km away, because the hotels there were quite expensive and many of the reviews were rather negative. Luckily, I found this place, which had excellent reviews, and I can only agree with all of them. The hostel is very quiet, clean, and welcoming. The lady at reception was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We had a wonderful night there and felt very comfortable. I would definitely come back if I visit the area again. Highly recommended!

  Hostal Vista a la Sierra good and pleasant base or transit point in Andalusia

  Liked: Hostal Vista a la Sierra is managed by a very nice, helpful elderly couple. As a welcome, we received a nice cold bottle of water, which we greatly appreciated. Although we did not speak Spanish and they did not speak English, we managed to communicate. Our assigned room is more like an apartment, which was very comfortable and clean for our stay. The patio in the backyard is only accessible when one of the managers is present. On his own initiative, the manager picked out delicious ripe figs for my wife from the large fig tree on the patio. We look back on a successful stay at Hostal Vista a la Sierra.

  Disliked: Valle de Abdalajís is a charming, authentic white village in Andalusia. Given that the village itself has no particular sights and, in our opinion, is not very geared towards tourists, it remains very suitable as a base and/or transit point to the many attractions Andalusia has to offer.

  Very nice location, clean and comfy room and a friendly owner

  Liked: Comfy bed, friendly owner, easy parking (no need to go through the narrow city streets). The room gets cleaned every day. It's perfect for trips to Caminito del Rey and Antequera.

  Disliked: The owner doesn't speak English. The facilities in the room are quite limited (as mentioned on the booking page) - we got a water kettle and some plastic cups, but there is no fridge and no plates nor cutlery.
