Exceptional
Liked: The large balcony for peaceful chilling time. Clean and comfortable throughout, great location. Great communication from the host, very pleasant and helpful.
Disliked: The electronic shutters / shades on the balcony didn't work, not too bad for us in October but would have been a problem during the hotter months. A small light on the balcony would also be welcome.
Liked: Locación y limpieza, aire acondicionado. Personal atento. Todo correcto.
Disliked: Falta de algunos productos básicos como bolsas de basura. Sólo 2 para casi una semana. Igual que las toallas
Liked: The host, Janet communicated clearly and proactively with us before our arrival and met with us in person to give us the keys and show us around, which we appreciated. The apartment looks like new, is nicely furnished and met all our needs. Location right next to the seaside at one edge of the village but then La Restinga is so small that you can walk anywhere. Nice balcony and pool/sea view. All in all a very enjoyable stay.
Disliked: For families with children, it is important to know that there is no direct access from the building to the pool. You have to walk around the whole building to the street facing access door to the pool, which needs to be opened with a key. Not a big deal but not quite as convenient as it looks.
Love La Restinga for the restaurants alone
Liked: La Restinga is a lovely little town at the far south of El Hierro. Lots of fish restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the accommodation. Very quiet location. Good facilities though we didn't cook in the apartment as too busy eating in the restaurants.
Disliked: You definitely need a car to get around and the roads aren't the easiest to drive on - lots of tight bends and sheer drops.
Wonderful stay in beautiful apartment overlooking the sea in sunny La Restinga
Liked: Wonderful views of the sea from the balcony, well equipped and clean apartment. Good communication with the host Janet.
Disliked: No lifts in the apartment block so difficult to carry suitcases to upper floors. Also no free toiletries.
Excellent stay in La Restinga
Liked: Great place, everything was clean and felt new. Great view from the terrace.
