  Lovely location in the Basque region of Spain

  Liked: The location was great, in a picturesque village in the hills heading towards the north coast and French border. Free underground parking (although quite tight). Excellent bar/restaurant next door that belonged to the hotel. We used the hotel for an overnight stay whilst heading towards Calais from our home in Southern Spain, but would go back to stay longer to explore the area further.

  Disliked: Signage for the hotel was non-existant and the parking a little difficult to access if you have a big car. Reception was never open, but just had to go to bar to check in and out. But would definitely stay again.

  Liked: Convenient location in our trip by bike. Nice food in the restaurant and good breakfast in the bar, if you like savoury stuff.

  Disliked: Bed was soft for my taste but good size for one person.

  Mostly good for an overnight pit stop

  Liked: Quite out of the way, pretty small and old rooms for the price. Bike friendly enough for our bikepacking trip.

  Disliked: No reception or advance information on check-in or check-out. Room very basic,no local information on eating or breakfast facilities. Too hot. Air Conditioning required.

  Liked: Excellent vibe about the hotel and bar, very friendly petrol station just across that helped us out with a tyre, cute little botanic gardens just across the river with excellent information. Staff super friendly and food rich and tasty. Garage parking perfect for a smallish car.
