We loved it, great views, walking trails were great, nice restaurants, plenty of supermarkets and fresh fish shop. Becky

Liked: Fantastic views from the roof terrace immaculate throughout, cute traditional Spanish house, comfortable bed

Disliked: Not for the faint hearted, it is extremely hilly this town

Little gem in the heart of Competa!

Liked: We loved our stay in this quaint and very authentic little house. The roof terrace was lovely to sit on in the mornings and evenings. We found the road from Torrox much nicer to travel on than the alternative route.

Disliked: Air conditioning downstairs as well as in the bedroom would give guests more scope to enjoy the whole house in the very hot summer months.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Casa Almachar in a lovely part of the country

Liked: Location excellent. House very comfortable and suited us very well. Close to very good restaurants and shops, particularly a lovely bread shop. Books to read very welcome. All in all we had a lovely holiday in Casa Almachar.

Disliked: Kitchen facilities a bit limited in terms of number and type of pots and suitable lids for pots but in spite of that we were able to cook adequately for ourselves when we wanted to eat in.
