  Artisitc apartment in an Artistic Heritage town

  Liked: The apartment is larger than it seems and the artistic flair shows in the intreating overall design, the unique light fixtures, the unusual toilet etc. I kept finding new things to admire. The upstairs bedroom has the window, but for me the downstairs bed was more comfortable, and that's where i slept. I used the shower and not the beautiful spa bathtub - the hot weather was the reason.. The kitchen seemed to have everything needed, but I didn't cook meals, so only used the kettle and refrigerator - both worked well. The A/C cools the rooms very quickly - quite amazing. And I appreciated the washing machine. Many restaurants to choose from; many with great views. Also super hikes - up for views or down into the canyon for the cool water. I met the host and was so glad I did. She is a lovely person and very helpful. Would stay here again.

  Liked: Location....beautiful village...walk to restaurants and shops....bus stop nearby to take you for a short bus ride into nerja.We loved the Spanish food. House comfortable and quirky. the village itself is like living in a postcard...Sometimes it was quiet and peaceful but then the bus tours came and it was really crowded. Lots of walking...lots of hills...good exercise.

  Disliked: From upstairs bedroom noise from street.,.,.(where as the downstairs bedroom had no windows and was quiet like a cave) The coffee machine was temperamental....sometimes we got it working but we wasted a lot of pods..... There's no parking near the house so we walked with suitcases up hill trying to find the house..Not a real problem.,.just keep that in mind.

  Exceptional

  Liked: Location, location, location! It was ideal!! The house was quirky and lovely!! The bathrooms are a little odd but I suppose that is part of being in a historical property!

  Disliked: The bed in the room on the second floor could use some support in the middle to eliminate a sag.
