  Tranquil and beautiful location with great hosts

  Liked: We loved the peaceful location, beautiful grounds, comfortable room and the wonderful breakfasts, Mandy and Marcel were great hosts and made us feel very welcome.

  A very peaceful setting with good facilities and a great breakfast

  Liked: The hosts, Mandy &Marcel were very helpful & friendly, with lots of advise about local facilities and attractions. There were no restrictions on the use of facilities including laundry and beach towels. The breakfast which was individualised was great &very fresh.

  Disliked: The accommodation has a fabulous view of the town and local countryside, however it is located on the outskirts of the town, thus a car is essential.

  Really enjoyable despite the heat

  Liked: The owners - Marcel and Mandy - were excellent hosts and it was a pleasure to get to know them. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was excellent and we loved the pool area especially. Sometimes we actually had the whole pool to ourselves. Breakfast was very good - you could request almost anything and if possible they would make it for you. Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Casa Tragabalas and we really appreciated the offer of a lift into Competa as the walk could be difficult in the heat for a couple of pensioners.

  Beautiful retreat in walking distance of Competa

  Liked: Perfect choice for a relaxing break just 15 15 mins walk from Competa. Nice comfy bed, great shower with little extras that just show that lots of love and attention to detail has be made by the owners whose friendly welcome and hospitality made our stay!

  A perfect Spanish haven

  Liked: We loved the location, the lovely pool area, the very friendly hosts Marcel and Mandy, the peace, the night sky and....the BREAKFAST! We also like small places without lots of people and here there are only 3 rooms. The recommendations to places near by including Sat market, lovely beach restaurant etc.

  Disliked: Not a complaint but an observation...the accommodation is in the mountains so expect a long windy road with some sharp bends. Whilst there is parking for 3 cars it is on the side of an unmade path. However, once there, Marcel and Mandy will give you 100% warm welcome and can't do enough for you.
