  Estudio Azul is a great base for a stay in Competa

  Liked: The location was very nice, host was very helpful, very clean, it was a nice place to spend holiday there.

  Disliked: I was very satisfied about the accommodation, but it was very noisy during the night time, or very early in the morning. Because is a mountain village there are lots of motorbikes and the noise high. In the pictures is clear that is not an separated bedroom, is only a studio, but in the description it was mention that it has a separate bedroom, that is not true.

  Liked: We stayed at Estudio Azul for a week in August, and our experience was fantastic. The accommodation is presentable, spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed, including a washing machine, dishwasher, and air fryer. The spacious private terrace has a table, chairs, and sun loungers, offering spectacular views of the mountains and valley, and on a clear day, you can even see the coast. A supermarket is conveniently located right at the doorstep, and there are numerous restaurants and bars within a walking distance of 3 to 30 minutes. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We absolutely loved our time at Estudio Azul and highly recommend it!!!

  Stylish accommodation with a warm welcome

  Liked: This studio apartment is situated at the top of the town. It's easy to find with google maps and there is lots of easy parking nearby. The view from the balcony/patio of the apartment towards the Mediterranean and the mountains is stunning. I had a warm welcome from Pablo, the owner, when I arrived at the property. Communication with him via Whats App was excellent. The apartment is stylish and modern inside with good kitchen facilities and a comfortable sofa. It was spotlessly clean. There is a good bathroom with plenty of hot water and a shower with good water pressure. The double bed was comfortable with a soft pillow. If you want to do some washing, there's a decent washer with a variety of programmes. Wifi is fast and reliable. I was in Competa for a week's walking in the mountains (I'd recommend Guy Hunter Watts book, Walking in Andalucia, Pub. Cicerone). Pablo also sent me details of a number of other walks in the area by WhatsApp - much appreciated. I hope to return to this property next year and would highly recommend it.
