  Excellent location, but a very disappointing stay and inaccurate listing

  Liked: - Excellent location: very close to the beach, supermarket, shopping centre, and airport. - The balcony was pleasant. - Nice hot water and water pressure.

  Disliked: - Check-in was very poorly organized. The host sent me the wrong phone number twice for the person handing over the keys, his phone was switched off, and I had to wait outside in the street for around 30 minutes after a long trip. His mother eventually handed over the keys, but she did not speak ANY English. - The listing was inaccurate: it stated that the apartment had an oven, toaster, and bathrobe, but none of these were available. - The lack of an oven was a major issue, as I chose the apartment partly to prepare meals from the supermarket. When I pointed this out, the host was dismissive and argumentative. - Cleanliness and comfort were disappointing: some cutlery was greasy/not properly clean, and I had to wash items before using them. - There was no proper duvet, only blankets that did not smell fresh/clean. Disgusting. - The kettle did not switch off automatically, which felt unsafe. - Only two towels were provided for a five-night beach stay. For a holiday apartment near the beach, more towels should be provided. - There was a washing machine, but not even one laundry capsule was provided initially. - When I asked for extra towels and laundry capsules, the host was reluctant and dismissive, although he eventually provided them. - Communication was poor. The host refused to answer the phone and preferred texting, which was not helpful during the check-in problem. - On the last day, the host explicitly asked me to give him a 10/10 review, which I found inappropriate given the problems during the stay.

  Happy holiday makers

  Liked: We love Puerto del Rosario and this is an excellent apartment to enjoy the city, very close to the beach, shops and restaurants/coffee shops. It was very clean and the host was available if we needed anything

  Disliked: There was only a stove top coffee maker, which we find messy and cumbersome (we bought a cheap electric one) Also there was no toaster. There were no wine or beer glasses, only a few missed matched tumblers, and only one cereal bowl
