Liked: This was our second time at the property, and we just love it there. It’s such a special space for a much needed getaway. The facilities are all top and the owner/staff are all incredibly friendly and accommodating. We look forward to our next stay.

Quiet rural location but far from facilities

Liked: Breakfast was good albeit rather repetitive. Location is in village with only one shop and a two bars and one restaurant. Car essential.

  Disliked: Bed on floor

Not a disaster, but very disappointing we had been expecting a luxury hotel

  Liked: Pretty outlook

Disliked: The website is misleading. This is a bed and breakfast establishment, not a hotel. No evening meals available. As the establishment is in a village with no facilities it is necessary to drive to find somewhere to eat. Breakfast room is the only public room and is locked when the staff are not around. There is nowhere to sit other than sun loungers. Bedroom had no chairs so only place to sit was on the bed which was at floor level. The sauna in the bedroom took 3 hours to heat up, so was only useable if one stayed in all day. The owners were away, but the caretaker staff were helpful and friendly.
