  Charming co-living with a real community feel, my home from home in Fuerteventura

  Liked: Charming and vibey co-living and holiday letting suites. Beautiful courtyard for eating out and sharing chats with other residents, reading in hammocks and day beds. We had a kitchen in apartment no. 1 but the community kitchen and facilities are well kitted out. The opportunities to stay in live in vehicles is also tempting as well as bringing your own vehicles for a glamping park up. A community whatsapp group lets you know what's on from artist-led events, music and food sharing, sauna and hot tub parties, or just pointing you to share left over foods. I stayed for 10 days and Casa Cocolores is brilliantly sited for the exclusive gong making course with Suhl Gongs and the local HiperDino supermarket, but also a relaxed location for local hikes and a base from driving out to all the pretty northern towns and beaches with super chic surfy town, Lajares, just a 10 minute drive away. The planting all around the property is stupendous with mature cactii, colourful bouganvillea and a charming allotment where you can go and forage. I look forward to a return visit to my home from home.

  It’s magic to leave the van in the morning and see the views surrounding the site

  Liked: Super nice environment, you can see that the space is taken care with love. The team is always available on WhatsApp.

  Friendly and enjoyable stay

  Liked: Lovely peaceful location in the mountains perfect for wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle. Friendly people and community feel Supermarket down the road buses easy to access although hourly

  Disliked: Only one communal shower available No blinds or curtains in the yurt Fairly noisy with animals but to be expected when staying in that type of accommodation
