  Overall stay was ok but not sure we will be rushing back

  Liked: The property was very specious and a good size pool that was checked and cleaned several times a week. The location of the villas is very good only a short drive into the middle of Lajares to shops and restaurants. It’s great to have a washing machine and a drying rack.

  Disliked: The WiFi is not the best and often stopped working, so had to turn the router on & off. We’re lucky not to have noisy neighbours as the villas are very close to each other and you hear & see everything/ everyone. We stayed in a villa number 12, which seemed to have some problems with the water pump and we ended up having no water for short periods several times during our stay. At first it was just the pump fuse ( the property management responded quickly via WhatsApp) but after that it had nothing to do with the fuse. A really disappointing was the fact that the villa’s description says towels included but it’s absolutely pointless as the towels were not functional at all. First of all they smelled disgusting and even more so when being used / getting wet and secondly they were thin and cheap material that didn’t absorb anything. We ended up washing them on the first day and even after that they remained extremely smelly and it was impossible to use them. It was very off putting. I’m sure if given the choice people would happily pay extra to have a clean and decent towels. The general cleaning wasn’t great, one could clearly see that the floors have not been mopped for some time. Unfortunately, we also found the beds very hard and the pillows extremely high/ thick which might suit some people but it’d have been good to have at least a couple of pillows slightly softer, to have a choice. Some windows have got insect nets but some don’t, so you do end up with mosquito bites.
