Very good
Typical Canarian hotel
Liked: The Gara hotel was located right in the centre of the small town of Garachico. We were opposite the natural swimming pools and there was a door downstairs for access to the road. The hotel was full of character and was 300 year old Canarian house. There was a sun terrace with excellent views. The owners were very friendly and helpful and it was a great place to stay.
Disliked: The breakfast was very nice but fresh juice and freshly cooked options would have been nice.
Perfect
Liked: Everything was perfect, the location is fantastic, right near the town square and beautiful church, on the other side you have great views of the ocean from the terrace. The staff were really friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to make us feel at home. The room was beautiful, bed comfortable and bathroom good. The breakfast was good and it was lovely to eat it each morning in the courtyard.

Liked: Great location with a good view of the sea. Breakfast was fine
Disliked: Slight improvements in maintenance needed - during heavy rain a gutter was overflowing onto the courtyard very loudly at night. We were charged for teabags to use in the room…
Disliked: Not a lot of noise isolation
Liked: Location, historic property well kept, good varied breakfast and catered for a gluten / dairy free diet, friendly efficient staff.
Disliked: The fixed shower head in room 17 was inadequate and needs replacing.
For this town, best location. Beach closed, could not access
Liked: Location/view from terrace are very good. Breakfast quite adequate.
