  Cozy and homelike stay - will return

  Liked: Felt like home! Clean, cozy and great hosts! I loved the buns and sweets the hosts left for us! It’s in a peaceful area and there is a metro station, and a fish /meat store, bakery nearby and convenience store. So quite good for some good days in Getxo. Well equipped apartment!

  Disliked: I didn’t mind and don’t think is a problem but good to know is that the street to the house is on a linient street so I’m coming from the station is a hill down or going to the station is hill up BUT just so you know if you have health issues or so. But apartment is first floor so accesible

  Liked: The location is absolutely gorgeous! The views from the windows look straight out onto lemon trees and even some flowers. It’s only a 5–7 minute drive from the ocean, so around a 20–25 minute walk:)) The area is very peaceful, and the neighbors are friendly and welcoming:))

  Disliked: Although the area is quite peaceful, you can still hear pretty much everything the upstairs neighbors do. But I think that’s a downside you’ll find in almost any apartment, so it wasn’t too bothersome.

  Excellent host, spotless and bright accommodation near beach and metro

  Liked: Bright and cosy apartment, extremely clean and well presented. The host had left out breakfast for the first night (bread, cereal, fruit) and left drinks in the fridge. The host also met us at the property on the first morning and let us store our bags before check in which was very handy. The apartment is in a nice period building which seems to be typical of the Getxo area, but totally modern inside. It is in a very suburban/residential area, but also very near 2 metro stops (Neguri is nearest) and a few restaurants, shops and a playground are within a short walk. It is on a very steep road, so not suitable for people with mobility issues. Very quiet area and walkable distance to the beach. I missed having more choices of restaurants and shops nearby but great for a quiet stay. Asier was very attentive and even dropped in with oat milk, tea and biscuits after I enquired about where to get an oat milk latte nearby, so kind! Highly recommend this place. Also highly recommend Bilbao and the neighbouring towns along the coast.

  Disliked: Nothing really... the steep road probably wouldn't suit everyone.

  Great find for Bilbao trip base

  Liked: Terrific apartment in a great location. We loved that we were located in a really nice, quiet area that was only a short walk from the sea. While at the same time we were also very close to the metro for accessing the city. The host was great. Good communication. Very friendly. Nice welcome with treats left for us.

  Disliked: Not much - it was all great. We didn’t find any cooking equipment - pans etc. but it was ok for us as except for breakfast, we ate meals out at restaurants/cafes.

  A beautiful and cozy place with incredible hosts

  Liked: It was a wonderful experience! – a néobasque-style building surrounded by green – tasteful and thought-through interior design – convenient location in a nice and calm corner of Getxo – hospitable and friendly hosts living nearby This week truly felt like a vacation.
