  A lovely place, well appointed and very comfortable - well cared for and relaxing to stay here! Host was very responsiv

  Liked: Loved the views, location, all the windows, the set up was excellent.

  Disliked: Needed more lighting by the bed for reading, overhead lighting was quite bright - a floor lamp would have helped.

  Santurtzi and the area next door (Portugalete) are wonderful and the Metro / Train makes visiting Bilbao central ama

  Liked: The location and the terrace with that view! Also Santurzi/Portugalete are wonderful places to base yourself. Plenty to see (e.g. the famous suspension bridge is 10 mins walk away) and everyone is so friendly.

  Disliked: The cooking implements could have been better quality, especially the preparation knives. However, everything else was top notch.

  Paradise in a busy city

  Liked: Everything. Ana’s very spacious apartment is delightful. The view is gorgeous. It is comfortable and super quiet. There are not a lot of better things to do than sit on the huge terrace with a coffee or glass of wine watching the harbour activity. Down below is the hustle bustle of the town with lots of restaurants and bars all within walking distance. So easy to catch a bus, train or ferry to central Bilbao. This area is typical basque Spain hence not as touristy as other parts of Spain. Ana is very generous with the amenities which are greatly appreciated when travelling. She gives you oil, balsamic. Coffee pods, tea, sugar, dishwasher tabs, shampoo, shower wash etc. We particularly loved the shower, the head is the biggest I have ever seen, delivering hot powerful water. There is also an indoor jacuzzi which we didn’t use. The apartment is spotlessly clean; we think it is cleaned by Ana herself. We couldn’t recommend Anas apartment more, a great gig if you are visiting Bilbao.
