Present stay
Liked: Overall, I had a very positive experience at this hotel. It is a good four-star hotel with very friendly service, lovely rooms, and a perfect location right in front of the beach.
Disliked: The only incident I experienced was with an iron I requested from the hotel. After trying to plug it in twice, I received an electric shock to my fingers when connecting it to a socket for the third time, which was obviously quite unpleasant. The hotel staff replaced the iron, and unfortunately, I ended up burning my new shirt with the replacement iron, although that part was my own fault. Despite this incident, I enjoyed my stay overall and appreciated the hotel’s quality, service, and location. I would happily give it four stars.

A two star experience at a four star price
Liked: The location and view were good
Disliked: One of the big selling points is the rooftop terrace, which was poorly maintained and somewhat hazardous due to old wooden floor. The rooms were dated and the mattress needed replacing. The inability to prebook parking resulted in customers blocking the reception areas with cars, which is a fire hazard. The outside looks modern but the whole place required renovation. The pool area was also poorly maintained.
Satisfactory, but the hotel could communicate better what to expect
Liked: Great location, spacious rooms, rooftop bar with amazing views of Gijón. Also, it has both a dry sauna and a turkish bath available.
Disliked: Gym was small and poorly equipped. Hotel organizes private parties on the rooftop which are extremely loud if you stay on the last floor. We had to ask for another room in the middle of the night because it was impossible to sleep.
