Good
Liked: The location was great and fantastic value for money. The bed was very comfy. When there was staff at reception, they were very friendly and helpful, allowing me to leave my bag after check out, which was at a reasonable time (12).
Disliked: The check-in process wasn't great. After 15:45, there is nobody working at the hotel and you have to call someone from an intercom outside the front door. I was then in a queue with 'on-hold' music playing for about ten minutes, then the door didn't open correctly so I had to call and join it again. Once inside the building, I then had to wait to join another queue for someone working online to check me in through a video call. If the hotel management doesn't want to pay for enough staff members to man reception at each of its hotels, then they should send the door code through the booking.com app so that guests can at least wait inside the building for someone to be available. Although I expected some noise because of the location, the windows don't block out any noise. More annoyingly, there was a loud noise of pipes during the night which went on for over an hour at 3am.

Liked: location near to City Centre local parking near-by Breakfast was plenty and varied.
Disliked: check in time could have been sooner
Liked: I liked the easy, no contact check in, I found that very comfortable. The rooms are very small but are in a good central area so I didn't mind.
Disliked: I read how the rooms are noisy. I thought to myself, I used to live in a university dorm, how noisy could it be? It is indeed VERY noisy. The narrow alleyway makes the noise so much louder, than it is on the street level, so it didn't matter that we were on the 3rd floor. I'm a good sleeper, so it didn't bother me that much, but earplugs are strongly recommended. Another thing: the hairdryer didn't work.
Liked: Staff was very friendly and approachable. Hotel was very clean and well look after. There wasn't any eating facilities but we didn't miss them because of the hotel location, plenty of choices on the door step. Very good value for money.
Liked: Great location in the heart of the old part of Gijón. Easy check-in, friendly staff. Room was reasonable price. Very happy.
Disliked: No complaints
Liked: Perfect location, no sound from outside
Disliked: It was really hot, air-conditioning worked really bad
