Very good
Liked: Friendly staff, quiet location
Disliked: Breakfast was expensive for the quality of food. It's at least 30min to walk to the old town but you can catch a bus.
Liked: I was very pleased with my time spent at Hotel Begonia Park. The hotel is lovely and the decor is very classy. I loved the location, being next to a park and the walking paths was so convenient. I felt comfortable staying here and look forward to visiting again!
Disliked: Perhaps some information about the areas attractions could be provided in the rooms. This could give us tourist ideas and inspiration for our Gijón adventures. For example- a map of the walking paths and/or walkable sightseeing tours.
Nice place with amazing mountains and a good fresh climate despite Europe's heat wave
Liked: The location of the hotel is absolutely excellent, adjacent to a large park with walkways, benches, children's playground and works of art, But the best is the splendid view from there over the bay at sunset. The staff was friendly, the receptionists very helpful, and the breakfast not overwhelming but quite ok.
Disliked: Spaniards seem to be used to talking loudly even at night. And there is very little acoustic insulation between the rooms. Vegetarian options are not on the restaurant's menu.
Good Location!
Liked: Good location for the beach. Restaurant ok. Spacious room. Powerful shower over the bath.
Disliked: Not a particularly comfortable bed with one long pillow provided for two people. Basics not provided free, such as water, cosmetic tissues and tea / coffee facilities in the room. Wi-Fi is slow. Bath is too cramped for a shower to be there. Not particularly good value for money.
