  Lovely experience in a simple yet pleasant hotel in Gijón

  Liked: Friendly staff - very helpful - very clean - comfortable room.

  Disliked: Nothing to do with the hotel itself, but Google Maps was confused on the address.

  Liked: That it was clean

  Disliked: Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my stay. The communication and attention to guests were lacking, and my messages were not answered promptly. The room also did not have blackout curtains, and there was a very bright street light shining directly into the room, which made it difficult to sleep. Additionally, the bed was quite hard and uncomfortable. Overall, I think these aspects could be improved to provide a more comfortable experience for guests.

  A 2-star hotel that looks like a hostel but costs as much as a 3-star hotel

  Liked: Wi-Fi works well.

  Disliked: A 2-star hotel on the first floor of an apartment building, with no elevator or parking and many small rooms close together. No AC, windows facing a noisy street, and only one power outlet. Reception closes at 9 pm, so after that you have to hope the other guests are considerate. We had people knocking repeatedly and for a long time in the middle of the night, without even knowing if it was our door or one nearby. Another family played reggaeton at 1 am because their dog was scared of the fireworks. We slept badly. We left one night early, losing the money we had paid, because we didn’t feel comfortable or safe. One star because it feels closer to a hostel than a hotel, while charging 3-star prices.
