Exceptional
A very nice apartment in Gijon
Liked: This is very nice apartment. It is clean, spacious & comfortable. The kitchen equipment was all provided but I wish there had been a kettle. The location could not have been better. Just a few minutes from the front door to the beach or the shops.
Disliked: On Booking.com it says there is private parking. We were directed to the public car park which is just across Avenida de la Costa. I booked online & got a discount for the 6 day stay. There is not a reception desk. On the app it said we would be met at the property. We were not. Prior to arrival we received instructions about how to get in & find the keys on the kitchen table. The instructions did not work. When I telephoned Pablo for help he doesn't speak English & we had to wait for someone else to call back. We eventually entered the apartment after several WhatsApp messages, photos & videos of the apartment door and electronic lock.
