Very good
Nice stay in clean pre set up tents
Liked: Great stay in 4 person tents, we had on at the upper level at the premises overlooking the camping and Gijon in the far distance. Cosy and clean tents with a fridge included.
Disliked: Camping itself a bit ran down here and there, offered food is not of best quality. Parking area near the entrance cramped.
Ok-ish
Liked: Convenient for the pilgrims. It’s right on the Camino del Norte.
Disliked: The showers and toilets need cleaning.
Liked: Beautiful and cosy tent, very clean area. We had a comfortable stay.
Liked: Amazing tent! It was beautiful and very comfortable. A fan and fridge was provided which was great in the hot weather. Toilets were not too far away. We are are a family of 5 and we fit comfortably in the tent.
Disliked: Nothing!
Liked: It was our first time in glamping tents and by and large we got used to it relatively quickly. There were drinking taps aplenty distributed across the grounds. The site had plenty of things to do especially for children, and the food in both the restaurant and the quick section were great both in quality and quantity - it was nice to try local Asturian dishes. We found the staff to be very helpful and welcoming.
Disliked: Travelling with a young baby, we hadn't appreciated that the campsite would not provide some way to heat up water or baby milk eg a microwave or bottle warmer in a designated area - I'm guessing they expected everyone to come with a camping stove. The staff provided hot water from the bar as requested, so we used a thermos flask to hold hot water overnight for the night and early morning feeds. The glamping tent whilst not cold at night was certainly too hot to stay in during the day (partly the summer temperatures) and the provided electric fan was ineffective.
