Exceptional
2 nights in Gijon
Liked: Well fitted out fresh and new apartment with all facilities - great shower towels toiletries - kitchen with all necessary appliances
Disliked: The location was grim - enormous block of flats facing another ugly large scruffy block of apartments in the scruffy end of town. After a month touring northern Spain - at 200 euros/night including the charge for the dog this was far and away the most expensive place we stayed. I feel marketing of these sort of apartments should show the location and vista - rather than 12 pictures of the lounge from different angles.
Great place for holidays!
Liked: Spacious appartment in excellent location, almost fully packed. Close to the shop, cafes and beaches. Very warm, even in december. Responsive and helpful host. Underground parking is challenging to get in/out and a parking space looks tiny, but I successfully parked large SUV there. Definitely recommend.
Disliked: Kitchen is fully packed, thought no kettle, ptobably should have contacted host to resolve this, but we had travel kettle with us. Double matress was ok for me, but too firm for my wife.
Liked: The location, just metres from the beach. The kitchen was well equiped.
Disliked: The parking too small and it was very dificult to park the car. The lift was too small.
Great Place for a Family Vacation
Liked: Great location, easy access, parking was extremely convenient. The kitchen was fully stocked (minus food of course) and the apartment was spacious. 2 bathrooms made it much easier as my wife and I shared the space with my sister-in-law and niece.
Disliked: No A/C. I know this typical of European apartments, but if I could change anything, it would be this.
