A decent safe place with nice host. No regrets. Clean
Liked: Its quiet and easy to sleep. Ved was very comfortable. They have a fridge.
Disliked: It will require some redecoration to stay there longer.
Wrong choice
Liked: The only value of the Pensión Los Pinos was to be in Gijón. Nothing else.
Disliked: The place was awful. The private bathroom was across the aisle. I had to close my bedroom with key to go to the bathroom and then close the bathroom with a key to go back to my room. The place was really ugly.

Liked: Pension Los Pinos was a charming old style pension with simple clean rooms and bathrooms. The bed was comfortable and the sheets pretty. We loved sitting on the terrace in the evening.
Extremely outdated
Liked: rooms were clean and staff gentle.
Disliked: The building and the rooms extremely old and outdated. The door handle of the toilet kept coming off and, the moment we left, it fell down leaving the toilet completely blocked. From inside your room you can hear other people snoring. The location is far from the centre (around 30 min walking) and the neighbourhood does not offer many services or bar where you can have breakfast. The price we paid is completely not worth it.
Good value no equipment
Liked: Good room with private sink. 20min walk to the center. They lent me a kettle. Good bed.
Disliked: Shower handheld. The kitchen has no equipment at all except fridge and tables. Pillow to high for me. You can hear what your neighbor room is talking about thru the wall
