  Loved it!

  Liked: Characterful appartment in the centre of the old town. Close to restaurants, bars and sight seeing

  Disliked: Bit noisy at night but to be expected in the centre of town and not a real issue

  Disappointing, especially with damp weather

  Liked: The location is very iconic, right in the centre of the old town of Girona.

  Disliked: The word "penthouse" conjours up a concept of space and grandeur, of which this apartment has none, including a lack of views or large windows. It was rainy weather when we arrived and the apartment was freezing and damp. Although there was air-co heating and an electric heater, it was very difficult to heat the apartment (no hot-water bottles either, alas, to heat the beds). It took 3 days to warm the sitting room to a temperature where we could sit without blankets, warm socks and such. The roof also leaked. The layout of the apartment offers no feeling of being in a home (it is basically a long passage with rooms). The bathroom door did not close due to damp, the stairs are very narrow, and the lift is tiny. There were no mugs (only tea cups) and no basics such as tea or sugar in the kitchen, and no long mirror in the apartment. Generally, disappointing.

  Liked: Really nice view super spacious great kitchen. Amazing for someone who is there to visit and sole purpose is to cycle. For an apartment it’s nice to have the office right at the bottom floor and it’s so cute to be inside the town. If you look out one of the windows you can see across the street graffiti of a bicycle that is so cute and fitting for the town. It’s close everything there is a great coffee shop outside.

  Disliked: I’m sure this isn’t something common but we did have an elevator out the entire time and we were in the penthouse and definitely a good workout. Especially if you had to take a bike up and down the stairs, but the staff was really nice about it. It’s not their fault but just something to be mindful. Maybe ask in advance if the elevator is working.
