Pleasant
Fa vocation on the riverr
Liked: Good value and fabulous location on the river in the old town. I had the riverside apartment, enjoying great views, particularly at night with the twinkling lights across the water. The room feels v quirky too, reflecting the history of the area.
Disliked: As mentioned by another guest, there were occasionally ants in the kitchen which put me off cooking or preparing food in there. Guess it's a problem in all these old buildings and wouldn't put me off staying again.
Good stay in Girona
Liked: The location had a good view on the river. The room had a lot of appliances. The beds were very comfortable.
Disliked: It was hard to open the door with the key and I had to contact the staff for help. The room had a weird smell inside.
Would be happy to return but fix a few bits and the place would be great!
Liked: Good communication, easy to get keys. The property is in a very good location. The building is old, room has old stone walls and exposed beams which I liked. We had a street view with a small balcony. There is a fridge and some basic kitchen utensils (we did not use them). Comfortable bed and it was very clean on arrival. Good wifi. Overall happy with our 2-night stay!
Disliked: The bathroom needs refurbishment! AC was OK but probably needs servicing. A couple of small stools would have been great to be able to sit on the balcony.
Reliable and quaint stay in the heart of Girona Old Town
Liked: Location is amazing, right in the heart of the old town. Also the building itself seemed quite heritage which was cool. Our room had an awesome view of the street down below. We were also very impressed by the kitchen facilities in the room.
Disliked: The aircon didn’t work properly (although the room wasn’t crazy hot) and the room was quite dusty. Also there was no shower curtain so the bathroom got wet. Basic things such as the tap was loose in the bathroom and the shower head didn’t go in its stand properly but they all worked fine and didn’t get in the way of our stay at all.
Liked: Thank you so much for making the stay so easy fpr my uncle. It made a huge difference.
Liked: I liked the location and the fast response from the host. The view was amazing
Disliked: The lack of kitchen utensils and there were aunts in the apartment but it was understandable as it was too hot during our stay. The host gave us an insect killer that worked.
