Liked: Very comfortable, spacious & clean accommodation
Disliked: A minor issue was that we only received 1 set of keys when we had a party of 6 in the apartment. This was soon rectified & I easily obtained a 2nd key from the apartment office.
Looks Great Online, Unsafe and Poorly Maintained in Reality
Liked: Great location, comfy, clean and warm.
Disliked: Misleading listing & condition: The photos are clearly from when the property was first put on the rental market and are no longer representative of its current condition. The roof terrace is shown as enormous, but in reality it is extremely small (approximately 2 m²) and only seats four people. The apartment itself is tired and poorly maintained: scuff marks throughout, mould in two bedrooms, filthy sofa, unusable pouffes, decrepit furniture, cupboards full of junk, and a completely smashed and dangerous oven door. The patio doors initially could not be opened due to unclear handle mechanics; after receiving no response from Flateli, I damaged brand-new clothing trying to access the terrace. The spiral staircase to the mezzanine is particularly concerning: poorly fitted, unstable, and accompanied by a small warning sign. This would be especially dangerous for children. Under Spanish tourist accommodation regulations, properties must be maintained in safe condition, with secure fittings and properly serviced installations — this apartment clearly does not meet that standard. Communication issues (timeline): 23 Sept: Requested early check-in – no response 26 Sept: Flateli’s systems were compromised; I received scam WhatsApp messages demanding extra payment 23–25 Nov (days before stay): Still no reply about early check-in; only generic messages 28 Nov (check-in day): No response about early check-in; told we could leave luggage at their office 28 Nov: Reported patio doors not opening – no reply 1 Dec (after departure): Reported a speaker left in the apartment 2–7 Dec: Delayed, unhelpful replies; cleaning team claimed not to find it 11 Dec: Formal complaint raised about mould and safety — only an apology, no corrective action 16 Dec: After repeated follow-ups, Flateli responded defensively rather than addressing the issues Summary: This apartment has potential, but it is let down by misleading advertising, poor maintenance, and safety issues.

Liked: Flateli penthouse was the perfect location.
Disliked: One annoyance was trying to dispose of the refuse the day we were to leave. It's more the city's policy, don't leave it until the last day to try and dispose of your refuse. Other than that the stay was excellent. 10/10. We'll be back for sure I think.
