Fabulous
Perfect for a short stay in Girona
Liked: Cute well equipped apartment in the old town of Girona. Appreciated the tea, coffee, oil and vinegar supplies, plus bathroom amenities. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: Use of the phone app to access the property - front door and apartment door. During bad weather, it took several minutes to connect and we were outside in rain. Grateful for number for apartment door as cell phone reception impossible on stairs - although once you have accessed the apartment you could connect to WiFi.
It was Ok, we could mange for two days
Liked: Location is great in the old town area.
Disliked: Property is located on the second floor. I was wondering how I missed it then checking booking.com, it was not mentioned in the description. For people trying to book consider: No lift. It’s in second floor. Not suitable for someone with baby or old people. It was difficult for us to move a big bag and our baby carrier in the small stairs. Most irritating was the light in the lobby which auto turns off and it’s not based on the motion sensors. You will be slowly getting down with your baby on small narrow stairs and boom lights gone.
Superb
Liked: Great location. Well equipped apartment. Quiet.
Disliked: No smoke detector. Very narrow and steep stairs from the street, challenging to get a bike in and out.
Very good
Comfortable and convenient buy may not suit older people as very steep narrow stairs
Liked: Close to tourist area and a lot of great restaurants /cafes surrounding. Was a 15 min walk to the train / bus station.
Disliked: Did not have wifi so unable to use the app to open the door to the building. Had to wait for resident to come by and let us into the building. We were able to text someone who spoke English to give us a code for a key in a lock box once inside the apartment so we could use the key for the rest of our holiday.
Very good
