Pleasant Stay in Girona
Liked: Location is ideal. Bed was comfortable and the shower hot. The area is quite. This place would be best for a couple as it’s a small compact space.
Disliked: As many others noted. The stairwell is steep and narrow. Is problematic with larger suitcases.
Lovely location for basecamp in Girona
Liked: Great location in the heart of the Old Town with super easy access to most points of interest. The host was helpful and gave clear instructions for reaching and accessing the property. The property was well fitted with all the necessities needed for making coffee, tea and cooking.
Disliked: Entry system over complicated.
Bad time to go
Liked: I liked the location and style of the apartment. It did the job and was what we needed for 4 days
Disliked: I messaged the host about a problem and they literally never got back to me. I kept getting fobbed off with a response ‘we are sending this to the manager’ which happened 3 times. really disappointing and ruined the overall experience. There was extremely loud building work (think road works but inside) on either the apartment above or next to us. It would have been nice to have been warned about this prior to coming, potentially even been provided ear plugs to help us sleep. the building work began at 6:30 and would bang and drill for hours into the late afternoon
